Olive Packaging Carpets
All useful information for the correct Carpet disposal, doormats and various packaging in accordance with separate collection regulations. On 11 September 2020, legislative decree 3 September 2020, no. 116, which implements the EU Directive 2018/851 on waste, and the Directive (EU) 2018/852 relating to packaging and packaging waste. The decree introduced significant changes, making environmental labelling mandatory for all packaging placed on the market in Italy. We remind you to always check your local council's regulations.

Differentiation
of paper labels
Some Olivo Carpets rugs and mats may have adhesive labels, informational cards, or paper components attached directly to the product or packaging. Depending on the type and packaging, these elements can be placed on either the front or the back and contain useful information relating to the product, its composition, traceability, or commercial instructions.
The paper components used fall into the following separate waste collection categories:
- Paper labels Category PAP22 – Paper Collection
- Cardboard tags Category PAP21 – PAPER COLLECTION
- Cavallotti Category PAP21 – PAPER COLLECTION
- Product closure bands Category PAP21 – PAPER COLLECTION
- Cardboard boxes Category PAP20 – PAPER COLLECTION
Before disposing of the product or its packaging, it is recommended to check for labels, cards, or paper packaging and dispose of them correctly in recycling, always following the instructions provided by your local municipality.
PLASTIC COMPONENTS
Plastic components
and carpet packaging
Some Olivo Tappeti products may include plastic components used for attaching labels, swing tags, or hangars intended for product display. These elements, applied during the packaging or commercial presentation stages, can be made of plastic or polystyrene material and are designed to ensure stability, practicality, and correct product identification.
Part of the packaging used for the wrapping and protection of carpets can also be made from plastic materials, such as bags or protective wraps.
Plastic components fall into the following separate waste collection categories:
- Plastic fixing points Category PS6 – PLASTIC COLLECTION
- U-bolts hangers Category PS6 – PLASTIC COLLECTION
- Plastic bags and packaging Category LDPE4 – PLASTIC COLLECTION
Before disposal, we recommend correctly separating the different packaging components and putting them in the dedicated collection, always checking the provisions and guidelines laid down by your local municipality for correct waste separation.
