How to dispose

Disposal information:

On 11th September 2020, Legislative Decree 3rd September 2020, no. 116, which transposes EU Directive 2018/851 on waste, and Directive (EU) 2018/852 on packaging and packaging waste. The decree made important changes, introducing the obligation of environmental labeling for all packaging released for consumption in Italy.

Adhesive paper labels can be found both on some carpets and on some doormats can be present on the front and also on the back:

Adhesive paper labels fall into the PAP22 category and must be placed in the paper


 

Cardboard labels can be found both on some carpets and on some doormats:

Some examples:

 

 

 

Generally used as information labels, they are made of cardboard and fall into the PAP21 category and must be placed on the paper

Generally used both as labels and as a belt closure system (band or U-bolts) they are made of cardboard and fall into the PAP21 category and must be placed in the paper

 

Plastic points for fixing labels or U-bolts and plastic / polystyrene hangers:

Some examples:

 

 

 

Generally used as fixing points for labels and U-bolts and as hooks for hangers, they are made of plastic / polystyrene material and fall within the PS6 category and must be placed in the plastic.

 


 

The main packaging of the carpets can be in plastic bags or cartons

The plastic bags are made of low density polyethylene and fall into the LDPE4 category and must be placed in the plastic
Cardboard boxes fall into the PAP20 category and must be placed in the paper
